Data we collect
- Customer account and orders: name, billing and delivery address, email, telephone, tax number when provided, products ordered and payment method chosen.
- Contact form: name, email, mobile number, subject and message.
- Visit and tasting bookings: the data you send us with your request.
- Newsletter: email.
- Technical data: IP address and the cookies needed for the website to work.
Purposes and legal basis
- Processing orders, deliveries, returns and customer support (performance of the contract).
- Issuing invoices and meeting tax obligations (legal obligation).
- Replying to contact and booking requests (at the request of the data subject).
- Sending the newsletter (consent, which can be withdrawn at any time).
- Keeping the website secure and preventing fraud (legitimate interest).
Who we share data with
We do not sell or pass on personal data. The following have access to it, only as far as necessary:
- the payment service provider (ifthenpay);
- the carriers that deliver the orders;
- the providers of website hosting, maintenance and security;
- the authorities, when required by law.
If any of these providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is made with the safeguards laid down in the GDPR.
Payments
Payments are processed by ifthenpay. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s page and are not stored on our servers.
How long we keep data
- Customer account: for as long as it is active. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
- Orders and invoices: for the period required by tax law.
- Contact messages and booking requests: for the time needed to reply to them.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, object to processing and withdraw any consent you have given.
Requests are sent to [email protected] and answered within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).
